SPECIAL APPEAL ONE
ROOM SPONSORSHIP IN THE CHILDREN'S CENTRE In partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities the Friends of Moorfields produced an incredible £1.2million to create the exciting Ronald McDonald House Moorfields on the fifth floor of the Children's Centre. Ten attractive bedrooms are provided to enable parents and siblings of young patients to stay overnight at the hospital, enabling a happy and much less stressful experience. Each bedroom has been given a unique name, reflecting the theme of textile design work kindly donated by Marion Cantrell and her team (see the Image Gallery). Sponsorship of other rooms at the Children's Centre is invited from companies and individuals. Full information is available from the Friends' office. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * SPECIAL APPEAL TWO HOSPITAL GROUND FLOOR REFURBISHMENT The Friends have promised to contribute a considerable sum to Moorfields' plans to refurbish and update the ground and lower ground floors of the hospital, creating a more welcoming and effective environment and offering an improved experience to patients and visitors. Donations to this objective will be warmly welcomed. The office would be happy to discuss specific aspects of such support. |
