Celebrating Volunteers at Moorfields.

Volunteers make a significant contribution across the trust to patients, staff and the community spirit at Moorfields. The trust is incredibly fortunate to have had the support over a number of years from a strong and growing band of volunteers which currently stands at around 200. Their concerted efforts go a long way to ensure the trust can continue to offer an excellent service to patients across the network.

Friends of Moorfields volunteers provide support at City Road and many of the satellite sites as patient guides and buddies. They help patients with self check-in, support the information desks at City Road and the Richard Desmond Children’s Eye Centre (RDCEC). They also provide valuable assistance at the Friends shop, with the trolley service, the booking centre, accident and emergency, medical imaging and in clinics.
