Health Hub Support Officer Post
An exciting opportunity to join the team at Friends of Moorfields!
Salary: ¬£27kpa + pension contributions.
Hours:¬† 35 hours per week tbc, but will include some evening and Saturday working.
Friends of Moorfields is a thriving and active, member-led charity which has been supporting patients and staff at Moorfields Eye Hospital, a world centre of excellence for the specialist treatment of eye diseases, for more than 50 years. The Friends provide a range of services to support the work of the hospital including managing the team of over 200 volunteers.
The Health Hub Support Officer is a new role, responsible for gathering and disseminating Moorfields approved information to patients and others at Moorfields about specific conditions and visual impairment in general.
The post-holder will be an all-rounder; someone who is comfortable working on their own initiative, is well organised, numerate, and who enjoys the challenges of supporting a small and friendly team. They will be supported to grow and develop in this role, through an active approach to training and development, and through a positive and empowering working environment.
Closing Date: 9am Monday 14th August 2017. Proposed Interview Dates Thursday 17th August
Please Note: The successful candidate will be required to attend a 4 day training course in Birmingham running 2nd – 5th October 2017
